Feline Poetry

Cats that cuddle, cats that howl
Cats that hiss and fight and growl.
These cats have I
Of these cats 2.

White and black, a gray one too.
Pretentious of their water.
Requesting it fresh and cool.
Though they happily lick their bottoms.
Hypocrites, I say.

Use them like pillows,
Soft and warm
Until my allergies come calling ,
And leave my nasal passages
Red and swollen.

Mice they chase
And catch by mouth
To drop at her feet
My wife she springs to the tallest
Surface screaming.

Thanks a lot Shitbirds.
